Gracemount Bake off - Finalists

Fantasy Football
Think you can have what it takes to become the next manager of the Scottish football team? Well now’s your chance to prove it! If you’re interested in joining the Gracemount Fantasy Football League please see Mr Rafferty any time before Friday for further details. This is the perfect opportunity to gain bragging rights over friends and points for your house! Both pupils and staff welcome.

Expressive Arts Show Auditions
Auditions for the Expressive Arts Show will take place on Wednesday, 11 November and Thursday, 12 November in the Drama Studio during period 6 and after school. 

There is as sign- up sheet in the Library for any pupils who would like to audition.

S6 - UCAS Applicants
Just a reminder it is your responsibility to ensure that all UCAS, pink information gathering sheets which you issued to you subject teachers should be returned to your Guidance teacher by today (Friday 23rd October).

Well done to those of you who have managed to get their forms in on time as this allows your Guidance teacher to begin writing your UCAS reference. Those who have not met the deadline are already behind and need to more proactive in this process.

Please help us to help you by getting your pink sheets in as soon as possible

French Club
There is a French Club on Wednesday lunchtimes for S1 and S2. Come along and play some French games, watch some French films and find out a little bit more about France. 

This will be run in Mr Cardiet’s classroom by Anne-Claire our Assistant.

As the figures show all year groups have slipped into the AMBER zone – that’s below 95%. 

This is disappointing and means that our young people are missing out on opportunities to learn and progress.

Open Evening 2015
Our annual Open evening is being held on Thursday 8 October 6-8pm.  The parents of pupils in P6+7 at our feeder primaries are invited along to see all the great things that happen at Gracemount High.  Please encourage your own Parents/Carers to come if they would like to see the school in action.  Pupils who are helping out in departments are reminded that they are representing the school and should wear full uniform (unless participating in dance, gymnastics or football).  The teacher you are helping will provide you with a permission letter for your parents to sign.
