Values Focus Week

Alton Towers Trip
All pupils going on the Alton Towers Trip please attend a meeting in the gym hall at break today (Monday 5th June).

Outward Bound Trip Information Evening
This Tuesday (6th June) 6.00 - 7.00pm there will be an information evening for all those going on the Outward Bound trip in August. This event will be held in the library and is open to all parents/carers and pupils going on this year’s trip.

S5/S6 University Trip – Wednesday 7th June
A reminder to all pupils who would like to go on this trip on Wednesday that your EE2’s and £3 for the bus must be handed in no later than Tuesday morning to the Guidance office.  This is fantastic opportunity to gain an insight into University life and the application process.  If you any questions or would like to collect an EE2 form please speak to your Guidance teacher.  Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Sports Day
Sports Day will take place this Friday 9th June.  Any pupil who has missed sign ups please go to the PE Base to do so. On Friday pupils are allowed to attend school in PE kit.  All pupils should make their way to the games hall after registration.

Hairdressing Opportunity:
Any pupils who would like a career in Hairdressing may be interested in the following opportunity. Gordon Wilson Hairdressing and Beauty are offering apprenticeships to school leavers starting now. The salon is offering full pay for successful applicants that is far higher than the average pay for this type of position. Successful applicants will work 5 days a week but one day will be in the salons hairdressing classroom. If you are interested, please speak to Mr Whale.

Easter Study Revision Deposits
Any student who has not yet collected their Easter Study Revision Deposit, please come to the school office at break, lunch or after school (Monday – Thursday) ONLY to collect your deposit.

Medical Forms to be returned to Mrs Fraser
This is a reminder that any pupils still to hand in Asthma Consent forms (and/or any Medication to be Replenished forms) should submit them to Mrs Fraser ASAP.

Please encourage your child to carry sun tan lotion on sunny days to prevent them from getting sunburnt and if they have any allergies or hayfever please bring hayfever tablets and an inhalor into the school for Ms Fraser to administer when required.

Sainsbury’s Active Kids Vouchers
The PE department are collecting Active Kids Vouchers again this year.  Please encourage parents/carers to take these when offered if they shop at Sainsbury’s.  Vouchers can be handed to your registration or PE teacher.
